1001. Missile Launchers - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Definitely worth it for PVE, and for some PVP situations. The majority of PVP'ers prefer guns, though, due to the fact that they hit instantly, esp. at long ranges.

1003. New Dev Blog: Dr. EyjoG and the fight for the Economy. - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
How long does it take CCP to push and approve a change through the regular QA process? It looks like that's what they're doing. Edit: Obligatory comments about how the QA process is slow AND ineffective (must be really cheap then), blah blah blah...

A total revamp to mining is even less likely to be implemented than other fixes suggested here and elsewhere. Just the words "total revamp" give them shivers, I bet.

1010. Running missions with friends - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
The game doesn't really allow group progression that way. The mission interface was made with the assumption that everyone does missions solo (the devs are focused on improving PVP aspects of the game, and PVE is not as developed as in other games...

1011. The lowbie curve... - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Well, a number of factors are at play: 1. Missions are given at random, and most are easy but some are hard. The hard ones are tuned for a player with good skills (read below), and so you can't stand up to them. 2. EVE ships are tuned in such a ...

Edited by: Letouk Mernel on 21/04/2008 15:18:35 Yup, if the timer runs out, you got away with it. Of course, while the timer is on, you can't jump and you can't dock, so you're basically waiting in space for 15 minutes, and the victim/target ...

1. The Scout Drone Operation skill gives 5000m per level, most people have it at 4 or 5, so 20k to 25k. 2. You need one of the skills that it has listed in its description (f.ex. Quantum Physics) at the same level as the agent (that would be 1, i...

Depends on what you use them for. Dominix is a drone ship, and if you have good drone skills it's very nice. The other two are hybrid gunships, and if you have high gunnery skills, they're nice too.
